Il Fanale
A dark, deep, almost graphic line. A mark etched into space. With Split, the new collection for Il Fanale, we explore the relationship between light, matter and shadow, transforming the fold of metal into an essential, architectural language.
Split originates from a sharp fold in metal that generates a precise, controlled line of shadow. Light stops along the curve, allowing shadow to take on an active role: a sign that defines both object and space.
The collection is structured into a circular version (Ø 35 cm) and rectangular elements available in two heights (h 100 cm and h 60 cm). In the round version, the orientation of the fold allows the direction of the shadow to be modulated, generating ever-changing compositions. In the rectangular modules, the fold becomes rhythm: a repeatable element that builds sequences of solids and voids, turning the wall into a narrative surface.
In Split, shadow is not an effect but a design element. Not the absence of light, but a sign that constructs form.
The collection is available in Ferro Anticato, Ferro Ramato and Ottone Sfumato finishes, designed to enhance the dialogue between light and matter.
