SIDE is the third collection designed by Studio Meneghello Paolelli, marking the consolidation of our partnership with the company. Designing for Stella means crafting for a historic and prestigious brand of Italian faucets, renowned for the elegance and exclusivity of its collections, as well as for its finesse and savoir-faire. It's no coincidence that Stella faucets are favored by architects and interior designers as key elements in the bathroom environments of the world's most prestigious hotels.
Our primary goal was to create a highly sophisticated collection that embodies the essence of the brand's philosophy while also reflecting the design vision of our industrial design studio. Additionally, we aimed to offer the client the opportunity to personalize the product.
With this in mind, we envisioned a faucet where the knobs serve as the focal point of the design: an iconic lever that seamlessly merges high product design with tactile materials. To achieve this, we divided the lever into two primary volumes, each representing distinct elements that exist harmoniously on both a formal and material level. These elements can be tailored and customized to meet the client's specific preferences.
The subtle interplay between these two volumes creates a captivating union that elevates each individual element as though they were intrinsically linked.
Our collection offers a wide range of finishes, beginning with the classic Stella PVDs and extending to potential collaborations with companies specializing in wood, fabric, and marble, further enhancing the versatility and appeal of the product.
