Opera is a square-shaped plate line designed as picture frames, conceived to highlight food as the true star of the table and an expression of the chef's creativity. The design of Opera plates is inspired by the 45° cut cardboard used as a passe-partout to enhance prints or artworks.
The passe-partout / lateral border, which may seem like wasted space, is essential to focus attention on the center of the plate.
