For the 2019 edition, Gibus has appointed Meneghello Paolelli Associati to design Dreamy Plaza, the company’s stand at the Salone del Mobile (S-Project, Hall 24 – Stand E11 F12).
Dreamy Plaza represents a travel experience, a journey between past and present, between technology and the world of dreams, a journey towards euphoric and pleasant destinations.
Dreamy plaza is a large hybrid container, part fantastic and part surreal, poised between indoor and outdoor where visionary interiors assertively contemplate outdoor spaces through neo-classical constructions.
A surreal interior space is defined by a mix and match of familiar architectural icons overlapping with two-dimensional optical graphic elements, while a dreamlike outdoor patio is characterized by an interplay of technology and architectural vaults.
As the soul of this project, colour accompanies us into a new world, a parallel world, and makes us dream of being elsewhere, in places of our choice, wherever we would like to be.
