Brooklyn is an unconventional collection with thin edges, positioned halfway between a countertop sink and a console, incorporating various features of both products. It consists of four sinks with modern, soft lines, designed to meet the needs of those seeking an elegant, contemporary, and highly functional product.
Each washbasin features an integrated “band” in the ceramic that serves a dual purpose as a countertop and potential faucet support. This element divides and connects the perimeter of the sink into two distinct areas: a wet area (the sink itself) and a dry area, a “pocket” that provides an opportunity for storage and can support accessories. The fat part - either at the back or side, depending on the chosen sink size - thus becomes the junction between these two spaces, blending aesthetics and practicality in perfect balance. Although the sink is primarily intended for water use, it is often employed for various other functions that do not necessarily involve water. This realization led to the creation of Brooklyn, a product with a new language and meaning, featuring a dedicated parallel space for these additional uses.
Brooklyn is available in four sinks with multiple flexible installation options: wall-mounted, countertop, or on a dedicated structure. The 100x50 console sink features a divider running the length of the basin, parallel to the wall, and can be wall-mounted, placed on a countertop, or paired with a dedicated structure. The other sizes have a shallower depth and an asymmetric but reversible design (glazed on all four sides), with the divider positioned perpendicular to the wall. The 90x40 and 65x40 sinks are available for wall- mounted installation (with an optional towel bar), countertop placement, or use on a structure. The 60x35 sink, with a height of 25 cm, is designed for countertop or wall-mounted installations.
Special attention has been given to the design of the wall-mounted configuration, where the wall- mounting brackets also function as a practical towel bar, creating a visual effect of the sink being suspended in mid-air.
The Brooklyn sinks in sizes 100, 90, and 65 will come with an optional dedicated support structure. This structure is notable for its lightweight design, reminiscent of triangular trestles used to support work surfaces. It consists of two trestles made from a single bent tube, forming a “support bridge” that holds the sinks in perfect balance on the central pivot.
