Ben is like a simple sheet of paper, which rests on a metal frame. It is a contemporary stool which is very light and thin. The aim was to recreate the sensation of a paper resting over a solid surface, adapting to its shapes lightly. The surfaces and lines are very clear-cut, moving in a way to shape in a comfortable way. Being treated as a canvas surface, it has a kind of “handle”, a functional detail, which brings the object to another level. This handle is like a cut on the canvas-a simple sign that carries the values, aesthetics and functionality simultaneously.
