Our idea is to play around with the historical relationship between hot and cold, between verticals and horizontals. We have to consider the question at a visual and tactile level where “cold” means to touch the vertical aluminum, and “hot” - to touch the horizontal textile stripes. This easy dualism between horizontal and vertical, between hot and cold allow creating a contemporary basket in the lower part of the sofa, while the upper part is characterized by easy and linear aluminum pipes that define the shape of the armrest.
