Trivium is a collection of fixed tables built around a shared base structure, reinterpreted through different placements that each time redefine balance, proportion, and identity.
The project originates from the encounter between material and light, in a continuous dialogue between glass - FIAM’s signature material - and wood, a warm and structural presence.
The design is based on a simple and recognizable gesture: a triangular base that repeats and recomposes itself, generating a family of tables in which variation is not formal, but relational.
The positioning of the trestles defines a different balance each time, giving rise to configurations that shift perception, tension, and proportion.
Conceived as small domestic architectures, the supports do not simply hold the top, but actively construct the space beneath it.
Glass, in its various finishes, amplifies this relationship: it reflects, filters, and lightens; while wood anchors the system, introducing a tactile and material dimension.
Trivium is a project of dynamic balance, in which elements do not overlap but seek each other. A system in which each table originates from the same matrix, yet finds its own identity through arrangement, rhythm, and distance.
